Admissions

Painting at St Tudy Pre-SchoolWhen we receive your enquiry we will invite you to make an appointment to visit the Pre-school as we would much rather meet you and show you what we do. We will then ask you to complete a registration form so that your child’s name can be entered. It is advisable to register at as young an age as possible.

Our normal procedure is for a child to start when they become two and a half years old, although this is flexible and depending on current numbers some children are able to start soon after their 2nd birthday. The number of sessions you start your child at is entirely up to you, we usually start new children on 2 sessions a week.

Settling In

You and your child will be invited to spend a morning session with us to familiarise him/her to the new surroundings. It is often felt that once your child is settled in an activity, your presence can become less apparent (we do expect children to be reasonably dry and clean, but appreciate that some might still be wearing trainer pants).

OFSTED

During January 2006, St Tudy Pre-school were inspected by Ofsted and a copy of that report can be viewed on here.
