Fundraising
The Playgroup also arranges social events for parents and
carers and welcomes any parental involvement. There is involvement
in other aspects of village life such as the carnival during
the summer and entering exhibits for the garden shows. We
try to vary our fundraising activities annually to provide
a variety of events for people to come along and support us.
We also make several trips during the year, such as to the
beach, fire station and fun parks and we also work closely
with the village school.
As we are a charity we rely heavily on extra money generated
by our fundraising activities and we are keen to be as active
as possible in our fundraising quest!
We are particularly interested in good quality items for
our raffle and volunteers are always welcomed to help out
with our activities.

Hall
A fun packed exciting evening of racing! Open 7pm with races
starting at 7:30pm. £2 entry (includes raffle ticket),
there will be a bar & nibbles and 9 races to bet on.
It promises to be a fun night and hopefully you will take
away a few winnings!

St Tudy Pre-school invite you to come and join
the fun! Doors open at 7pm for eyes down at 7.30pm. £1
Entrance includes free ticket to enter our raffle. Refreshments

Events been and gone
- Sunday 18th July - Joint fun day with St Tudy
School
What a super day we all had and fortunately the
weather was kind to us. It really was lovely and a lot of
people commented on how nice it was to slow down and enjoy
playing in the park and taking part in some fun games.
A huge thank you to all who helped make the day possible
by organising; setting up; cooking; baking; taking part
(Kelly and Lucy who were real sports in the sponge throwing)
and donating items for the stalls. Thank you! thank you!
thank you! Special thanks also goes to Angela Hocking for
donating the burgers and the sausages for the BBQ.
In total we made £687.53 to share between the school
and the Pre-school - well done!

Clink
Thanks again to all who supported us and baked
and helped. In total we raised £95 - well done!
- Sunday 9th May - Ten Tors
Once again a team of four (Martin, Howard, Colin and Richard)
walked the Ten Tors and well done to all of them. Many thanks
to all that sponsored us and of course biggest thanks go
to the brave four who walked! In total we raised £212,
thank you so much to all.
- Saturday 3rd April - Easter Egg Hunt at St Tudy
Clink
What a super turn out - thank you to everybody
who came to support us and thanks to the Easter Bunny who
did the trails! Once again our volunteers baked some spendid
cakes and kept everybody in refreshments! In total we made
nearly £200.
- Saturday 13th March - Coffee morning in the St
Tudy Clink
Thank you for all who came and supported us at
the Clink and for those who baked and served the refreshments.
In total we made £73.
- Saturday 6th February - Prize Bingo at
St Tudy Village Hall
We all had a super evening and in total we raised over £200!
A huge thanks to Nat and her family who ran the Bingo and
made it a such a pleasurable evening. We would also like
to thank those who donated the prizes for Bingo and also
for those lovely cooks who baked for the refreshments.
