Fundraising 2008 - thanks for all your support!
- Mince Pies for the Air Ambulance
Thanks to all who made and ate the mince pies, in total
we raised £18 for the air ambulance.
- Pub quiz night at the Cornish Arms in St Tudy
- Friday December 5th 2008
Thanks to all who turned up to the pub quiz night
- in total we raised £70 and thanks to Rachael who
masterminded the quiz questions, fun was had by all.
Especial thanks also to the Co-op, Morrisons, Hengar Manor
and Tesco who very kindly donated raffle prizes for the
event.
- Table Top Sale - Saturday 15th
November 2008
A big thank you to everyone who helped out and contributed
to the Table Top Sale we managed to make £141.08
- Cream Teas - Wednesday 1st October 2008
We had an open house for people to pop in and sample some
homemade scones and have a cup of tea. Thanks to all who
came and also the children for their expert culinary skills.
We made £41 from the cream teas fundraiser.
- Car Boot Sale - Saturday 13th September 2008
Well amazingly the weather was fine so thanks to all booters
and non-booters who turned up! Thanks also to the children
and staff who made a selection of delicious cakes and biscuits
to sell with cups of tea and coffee, which were very much
enjoyed.
Thanks also to Karen Nankivell who hosted the car boot event
in her field at St Breward.
In total we raised just over £88!
- Ten Tors Challenge - Sunday 11th May 2008
Thankfully we were blessed with lovely weather and we are
proud to say we all safely completed the Ten Tors challenge
2008! Thanks also to all who sponsored us and we are very
pleased to say we raised over £800!
- Winter Fair - January 2008
We've kicked off to a great start this year with our Winter
Fair at the village hall, raising nearly £600. An
enormous thank you to the playgroup staff (Sue, Liz, Bev,
Anne-Marie and Kelly) and to the parents who helped run
the event. Especial thanks to Rebecca Rose for masterminding
the whole business. We also would like to thank the various
companies that so generously donated items to the raffle,
including St Tudy Stores, Bradleys Dairy, St Kew Harvest,
T J Burden, China Clay Museum, Cornish Arms, Hengar Manor,
The Old Inn, Bodmin Herb and Plant Nursery, and many more.
And finally, thank you to everyone who came and bought!
