Fundraising 2009 - thanks for your support!

• Saturday 19th December – Coffee Morning. Thanks to all who came and supported us and to all that baked!
• Saturday 12th December – Bag Packing at Asda! Thanks to all who packed and also to ASDA for letting us pack! In total we raised just over £200 - well done!
• Tuesday, 24th November at 8pm, Liz Hustwayte hosted a Pampered Chef party – thanks to all who came, we raised appoximately £85 for the Pre-school.
• Thursday 19th November, Susie Ballerstedt held a very successful Phoenix Cards coffee morning - thanks to all who made it through the road works!
• Saturday 19th September- Coffee morning in the St Tudy Clink
  Thanks to all who came along and baked, once again there were some very yummy cakes to eat. In total we made £94, many thanks!
• Saturday 12th September - Race Night
  A fun night out was had by all and many thanks to those who arranged and helped out from both the Pre-school and the School!

• Saturday August 22nd - Village Fun Day at the Village Hall
  Well the weather was not too bad considering and we all had a lot of fun. Many thanks to all those who helped in setting up, cooking, baking, serving and running the games and of course Phil and Hector the fire engine! You all really made it a fun day to go to! Thanks again and in all we raised around £300!
  
  
  
• Saturday 8th August - Coffee morning in the St Tudy Clink
  Thanks to all who came along and baked. In total we made £85, many thanks!
• Sunday 19th July- Cream Teas in the St Tudy Clink
  Thanks to all who baked and came! We appreciate your support!
• Saturday 11th July- Coffee morning in the St Tudy Clink
  Well thank you to all of those who baked and of course those who came to sample, as the weather was particularly unkind!!! In total we raised £70.
• Saturday 30th May - "Off the Peg" Clothes Show
  What a fabulous evening we had and a huge thank you to all who turned out! "Off the Peg" did a wonderful job and a huge thanks to our models who very kindly allowed themselves to be dressed up out of their comfort zone to model the clothes! In total we raised circa £300 - well done!
  
  
• Sunday 10th May - Ten Tors Walk
  The 2009 walk was accomplished by (see photo, left to right): Kelly Newton, Kath Davies, Karen Nankivell and Liz Hustwayte - well done to you all!! The weather was once again on our side and there was no rain. We are still collecting sponsorship but estimate our takings to be £450 plus giftaid. A very special thanks to all who sponsored us.
  
  
  
• Sunday 19th April - North Cornwall Tor
  A gruelling cycle ride of 43 miles - hats off to Dave Ricketts who managed to complete the challenging circuit to raise money for the Pre-school. Thanks Dave from all of us at Playgroup! In total David raised approx £260 - but I am sure he will agree he had to work for it!


• Saturday 18th April - Bag Packing at Morrisons
  Thanks to Morrisons and all volunteers who came to bag pack - we did really well and are delighted to say we raised £313 for the Pre-school! Well done!
  
  
  
• Saturday 11th April - Easter egg hunt and tea, coffee and cakes
  A huge thank you to everyone who helped out, baked and set the easter trails! In total we made a very healthy £153 profit - super!!!!
  
  
  
  
• Saturday 21st March
  Tea and Coffee, cakes, book stall & bric-a-brac table PLUS a raffle
  Thank you to everyone who came and helped and also to those who came and drank! In total we made £114 - brilliant!
• Saturday 7th March - Prize Bingo
  What a super evening - thanks to everyone who came along and supported us. In total we raised nearly £400! All of us from the Preschool and the School would like to say a special thank you to Nat and her family for giving their time and materials so freely, and organising the night so seamlessly, with a load of novices in tow!

• Saturday 24th January - Bag Packing at ASDA
  We had a great time at ASDA with the bag packing. A huge thank you to ASDA and to the friendly staff there and of course those who came and supported us by bag packing. In total we raised about £400 which is a super amount to start this years fundraising quest. Thanks to all!
