more detail.
What follows is an example of a typical session at St Tudy
Pre-school:
- 9.00am - 9.15 am
Children arrive and settle into pre-school
- 9.15am - 9.25am
Registration in side room and over view of activities on
offer
- 9.25am - 10.30 am
Free choice play with structured activities
- SNACK IS BROUGHT INTO THE ROOM
- 10.30 am - 11.45am
Free flow accessible with activities continued
- SNACK IS REMOVED
- Key persons carry out small group activities with key
children
- 11.45am - 12.00
Tidy up time children encouraged to help
- 12.00 - 12.15pm
Review of the day and handwashing
- 12.15pm - 12.35pm
Lunch time
- 12.40pm - 1.00pm
Planned end of session activites in side room
Toileting is encouraged throughout the day for those who
are dry or potty training, whereas those still in nappies
and pull ups are checked regularly and changed as necessary.
