St Tudy Pre-school

for children aged 12 months+

St Tudy Pre-school was founded in 1981 to provide early years education for children living in this rural part of Cornwall. We aim to offer a secure and caring environment in which children can play together and enjoy a wide range of experiences.

We meet in our bespoke building on the playing field in St Tudy which has excellent facilities including secure outside playing area. This means that the children spend part of the session in the fresh air.

Children tend to progress to St Tudy Primary School, or schools in neighbouring villages, but children from any area or background are welcomed.

We aim towards equality of opportunity and strive to be sensitive to any issues of culture, race, gender, special needs and varying family backgrounds.

Our mission is to:

welcome all children with their families and provide a safe environment for children to learn through play as equals whilst acknowledging their individual needs. We aim to give them the opportunity to develop as valued individuals.
